Download Precomputing
The precomputing command is one file with SQLite built in and nothing else to install. It compiles policies, runs the Engine, the Meter, Logs and Traces, and serves files to AI agents over MCP. Each archive below holds it with its license files and the README. The links always point to the latest release.

Checksums are in SHA256SUMS. Every release is listed on GitHub.
Install
On Linux or macOS:
tar -xzf precomputing_linux_amd64.tar.gz
sudo mv precomputing /usr/local/bin/
precomputing version
The Linux binaries are static, so they run on any distribution. The macOS binaries aren’t signed by Apple, so macOS may block the first run; allow it in System Settings under Privacy & Security, or run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine precomputing. On Windows, unzip the archive and put precomputing.exe in a folder on your PATH.
Each binary is built by the release workflow on GitHub. Before a release goes out, every build the runners can execute runs Demo 2’s whole trading day, 4,048,210 trades, and checks every candle against a recount.
Try It
precomputing demo
That’s the same trading day on your own machine. To keep answers ready for your own data, write a policy and compile it into any SQLite database:
precomputing compile latency.precompute | sqlite3 latency.db
The README walks through the Engine, the Meter, Logs, Traces and the MCP server, and the demos show each one in your browser.
Build It Yourself
You need Go 1.24 or later and a C compiler. SQLite comes with the source.
git clone https://github.com/precomputing/precomputing
cd precomputing
go build -o precomputing ./cmd/precomputing
License
Precomputing is open source under the Apache License 2.0. The binaries also contain SQLite (public domain), the Go runtime (BSD license) and, depending on the system, musl libc, Zig’s compiler runtime (both MIT) and the mingw-w64 runtime. Their notices come in each archive.
